If Patrick Trujillo had a dollar for every time he's heard that request, he wouldn't have to draw another caricature for as long as he lives. He's already lived 51 years (remarkable considering all the people he's insulted with his quick stroke of the pen).
While some of his subjects have trouble recognizing their own likeness, everybody recognizes the other guy's...
"In 30 years, I've never drawn a woman that looked like her but everyone ELSE's is perfect." Such is the plight of an artist who exaggerates faces for a living.
After a long evening with a never-ending line, he was asked by a concerned client, "Don't your fingers ever get sore?"
"I'm not sitting on my fingers," he replied with a laugh - knowing everyone was having a good time.
